An Open Letter to the Valued Clients of Hidden Treasure from Jen and Jim Medors:
Early last week, our apartment (including our home office) was flooded due to a problem with the main sewer line in the building. We quickly moved all of our items to storage and began inventorying everything to see what was damaged and was not.
Today is the first day we have been able to set up the computer and check our remaining inventory against what we have sold and what we have available to sell.
If you have a pending sale with Hidden Treasure, you should receive a personal email within 48 hours. If you do not, please let us know and we will contact you ASAP.
Here's a quick run down of what was damaged:
Books: All are ruined – No one wants a First Edition in damaged condition.
Magic Cards: Only the commons boxes were damaged. All other cards are fine and were nowhere near the flood line.
Micro Machines, Collectible Race Cars, other items in boxes. The boxes are no longer collectible quality.
D&D items: Most were saved, but a couple were ruined.
We will be offering full refunds to each person whose item(s) were ruined. We will be offering the option of a full refund or a partial refund + item(s) when possible.
If you are currently waiting on an invoice, it may take a little longer than an additional 48 hours to receive it. We are very backed up because of this. You are released from purchasing the item even if it wasn't damaged due to the fact that you have to wait on your invoice.
I believe that just about covers it, but if I think of anything else, I will write it as an addendum to this letter and post it here,
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
